Honouring the Past: Extended to January 13!

Four Pieces from our show, clockwise from Top Left: Homage to Rembrandt’s “The Polish Rider” by Margot Cormier Splane, Memory Lane by Michelle Brazeau, Say HER Name: Some Notable Women of the Porcupine Camp and Timmins by Karina Miki Douglas-Takayesu, and In Their Hay-Day by John Allerston.

The Timmins Museum: National Exhibition Centre has extended our Exhibit, “Honouring the Past” to Friday, January 13, 2023! If you did not get a chance to see the show during the holidays, or want to revisit it, drop by the Museum during their regular hours of operation. (Museum reopens on January 3rd). There are over 30 pieces in the show, featuring works by both present members, and some past members, going back to 1947!

Featured front and centre is our RoyalTea and Paint Party Community Mosaic Mural, made up of 70 different 6″ x 6″ pieces painted by members of the community during our Canada Day 2022 party celebrating 70 years of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s reign!
