We’ll review sample works by Modigliani, discuss some points on technique, and make our own simplified portraits/self-portraits imitating his style. You can aim to finish during the workshop time-frame (7:00 – 9:00 p.m.) or finish at home if you prefer.
Participants will need to bring:
- Pencil for sketching
- Acrylics with prepared canvas OR pastels and black paper*
- A photo portrait of a person or a mirror if you want to do a self-portrait from life
*These are suggestion only, you can work in whatever medium you choose.
