Wednesday July 10, 2024 – Starting around 11:45 a.m. Hollinger Park

Visit the Porcupine Art Club’s table at the Timmins Public Library / Bibliothèque municipale de Timmins 100th Anniversary celebration on Wednesday July 10th, 2024 in Hollinger Park, and take part in our community mosaic mural painting! Pick a canvas tile you want to copy and club members will provide you with the paints and brushes, as well as any guidance you may need to help. This will be like a big paint by number with the design already drawn out for you. (Don’t worry, they’re not as complex as the logo seen here!) The finished – and assembled – mural will be unveiled during Ontario Public Library week in October.

Please note: this is an adult activity, but we will have drawing supplies on hand if you are accompanying children. There will also be all sorts of children’s activities throughout the day.

The opening ceremony starts at 11:00 a.m. and the day goes until 4:00 p.m. To allow for canvases to dry, we will be accepting our participants up to 3:00 p.m. Please note, we will be at Hollinger Park, not the Timmins Public Library.
