With the ongoing changes in the present COVID-19 situation, there are new deadlines for submissions for two of our regional juried art exhibitions:

Northern Impressions 2.0

(Timmins Museum: National Exhibition Centre)

Northern Impressions 2.0 is open to all artists in Northeastern and the Far North regions of Ontario. You are not required to belong to the Porcupine Art Club or another art club in order to enter.

New Deadline for online submissions: Wednesday September 30, 2020

New Expected Exhibition Date: January 2021

64th Annual Northern Ontario Art Association (N.O.A.A.)

Juried Exhibit 2020

Open only to present members of an N.O.A.A.-affiliated art club:

• Algoma Art Society (AAS),

• Ansonville Art Club (AAC),

• Burk’s Falls Art & Craft Club (BFA&CC),

• Cochrane Art Club (CAC),

• Englehart Area Artists (EAA),

• Kirkland Lake Art Club (KLAC),

• Manitoulin Fine Arts Association (MFAA),

• Moonbeam Artists Association (MAA),

• North Bay Art Association (NBAA),

• Porcupine Art Club (PAC),

• Sudbury Art Club (SAC),

• Temiskaming Palette & Brush Club (TP&BC),

• Visionorth Arts Cochrane (VAC),

• Walden Art Club (WAC),

• Walden Association of Fine Arts (WAFA).

Deadline for digital entries to be submitted to your N.O.A.A. Rep.: June 15, 2020

Since it is unknown at this time before public facilities will re-open year’s annual juried exhibit will not be touring the N.O.A.A. club communities. All submissions and jurying will be done online, and the selected artwork will be featured in the 2020 N.O.A.A. Bulletin. The entry fee has been waived for this year. 

Jurying is anticipated to done by mid to late July, and the all clubs’ N.O.A.A. reps will be notified, and subsequently, the artists. Awards will be awarded, and cheques issued where applicable. The exhibit and Annual General Meeting (to be conducted online) are under the auspices of the North Bay Art Association.

In general for P.A.C. members:

1.) One painting entry, per PAC Member.
2.) NO ENTRY FEE
3.) Digital Entry (photo). Submitted to PAC gmail. (No signature, no framing)
4.) The usual information needed as per NOAA Label. (See link below).
5.) If you need assistance with Photographing let Ted O’Connor know via email to PAC gmail.
